The Vellore Institute of Technology, a Deemed University, has started accepting applications for the B.Tech programs for the academic session starting in 2023. The admissions shall be based on its entrance exam VITEEE.

VIT Vellore is a Deemed to be University and also has been declared an Institute of Eminence by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. It also has two campuses in Chennai (Tamil Nadu), one each in Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) and Amravati (Andhra Pradesh).  The Bhopal and Amravati campuses are registered as State Private Universities.  However, admissions to all the programs across the four-campus shall be based on VITEEE.

PCM / PCB based eligibility: PCM / PCMB candidates who have attempted Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English and Aptitude in VITEEE are eligible for all BTech degree programmes. 
PCMB / PCM / PCB candidates who have attempted Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and Aptitude in VITEEE are eligible for B.Tech. Bioengineering / Biotechnology / Electronics and Communication Engineering with specialisation in Biomedical Engineering  / Computer Science and Engineering (Specialization in Health Informatics).
